Position Summary
Team Member Responsibilities
Inventory Control & Pharmacy Support
- Receive and unpack incoming orders
- Verify accuracy of packing slips/invoices against items received
- Apply custom barcodes as needed
- Stock items in appropriate locations while rotating earliest expirations to the front of the shelf
- Track expiration dates
- Organize returns to vendors (e.g. vendor errors)
- Participate in weekly inventory counts and annual clinic-wide inventory audits
Pharmacy & Clinic Upkeep
- Help maintain a clean, organized pharmacy and storage areas
- Perform light cleaning duties such as dusting shelves and vacuuming
Backup Duties
- Assist with weekly clinic supply orders
- Support online pharmacy requests by authorizing client orders
- Provide front office support as needed, including answering phones, scheduling appointments, and assisting with client check-in/check-out
Clerical & Customer Service
- Greet and assist clients in person and over the phone
- Respond to client questions regarding pharmacy products and clinic services
- Demonstrate product and service knowledge to support client needs
- Utilize inventory, word processing, and spreadsheet software efficiently
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Associate’s degree or related training preferred
- Minimum of two years in an office, inventory, or support role
- Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic math and inventory management skills
- Experience or familiarity with equine care is a plus
Physical & Technical Requirements
- Proficient with standard office equipment (phone, copier, scanner, fax)
- Comfortable using personal computers and business software (Microsoft Office or equivalent)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced clinic environment
