Optimizing Fertility
Freezing stallion semen and training young stallions to collect during the breeding season can be unpredictable and stressful. The time constraints of stressed out mare and stallion owners during the breeding season puts pressure on these stallions to produce a highly fertile ejaculate for fresh cooled or frozen semen. In addition, working around a showing schedule can create stress and confusion for some stallions.
In an effort to optimize the stallion training experience and the fertility of frozen semen produced we recommend collecting and freezing semen outside the pressures of the breeding season. This in turn reduces bad behavior in the breeding shed and produces a better, more fertile dose of semen.
We are offering stallion owners a discounted rate on semen freezing in August and September, in an effort to optimize the stallion’s training, experience and semen produced.
