Tina Bennett
Tina Bennett has spent much of her life caring for animals and supporting the horse community. Today, her world includes four horses, a donkey, two dogs, and four cats, reflecting her lifelong passion for animals and their well-being. Her career in the horse industry spans decades and includes experience as a Saddlebred groom, work in Standardbred racing, and leading the breeding operation at a local Quarter Horse farm.
Tina also serves as the Executive Director of The Exceptional Horseback Riders of Saginaw County, where she helps create meaningful connections between horses and people. That work reflects something Tina has always understood deeply: horses have a powerful way of reaching people, teaching trust, building confidence, and changing lives.
At SVEC, Tina brings that same compassion to the barn, the reproduction program, and every horse in her care.
I serve in several roles at the clinic, including Barn Manager, Greeter, Farrier Coordinator, and as part of the Reproduction team. I help manage recipient mares and assist with foal deliveries.
My favorite part is helping deliver foals and watching them grow into successful horses. It is special to be there at the very beginning and to know you played a small part in their story.
I have decades of hands-on horse experience and a natural instinct for caring for mares and newborn foals. I also bring a lot of experience working with people through my role with The Exceptional Horse.
My experience helps support the doctors, staff, clients, and horses at SVEC. I know how much these horses mean to their owners, and I try to bring care, patience, and heart to everything I do.
