Sue Huls

Customer Care team member Sue Huls combines a lifelong love of horses with a genuine passion for helping people. Her equestrian journey began in elementary school when a friend introduced her to horses, and after that very first ride, she was hooked. Today, she continues to enjoy riding at a hunter/jumper barn and understands firsthand the dedication, responsibility, and deep connection that come with horse ownership.

Away from the clinic, Sue enjoys spending time with her two children and cheering them on at their sporting events. Her busy household also includes two Labrador Retrievers, two barn cats, and three horses, so there is rarely a quiet moment.

At SVEC, Sue brings compassion, warmth, and personal horse experience to every client interaction. She understands that when someone reaches out to the clinic, they may be worried, uncertain, or simply trying to do what is best for a horse they love. Her goal is to make sure each person feels valued, heard, and well cared for from the moment they connect with the clinic.

I work in Customer Care, helping clients feel welcome, supported, and connected with the care they need for their horses.

My favorite part is helping clients and making sure each person feels valued, heard, and well cared for. I enjoy being able to connect with horse owners and help make their experience with the clinic a positive one.

I think my greatest strengths are compassion, listening, and understanding where horse owners are coming from. Because I am a horse owner myself, I understand the commitment involved and how much these animals mean to the people who love them.

Those skills help me understand clients’ concerns and make sure they feel supported. When owners feel heard and cared for, it helps create a better experience for everyone and helps them feel more confident as they seek care for their horses.
