Sue Huls
Inventory Assistant
I’ve always wanted to work with horses. They’ve given me so much joy over the years and I feel like it’s now time for me to give back to them by assisting where I can in the course of their health. I’m excited about my role as an inventory assistant because it’s more than just managing supplies–it’s about ensuring the horses we treat have what they need to thrive.
What I enjoy most about working with horses and their owners is the special bond we share, regardless of breed, discipline, or interest. For many of us, horses are a part of our family, and we can all relate to the ups and downs that come with owning and caring for them.
Outside of work, I love spending quality time with my family and cheering on my kids at all of their activities. We also have a small hobby farm, which is home to our two miniature horses, Teddy and Kid.
Additionally, I’m working on improving my hunter/jumper riding skills. It’s one of the most challenging and rewarding things I’ve ever done, and it keeps me connected to a fun and supportive horse community.
I love the quote, “An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.” It applies to us horse owners in many ways!
