Sara Taylor, DVM Intern
Sara completed her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine at Michigan State University College of Veterinary Medicine. After graduation, she pursued an equine internship at SVEC. During her internship, she expects to focus on sports medicine. In her free time, she enjoys riding her horses and competing in barrel racing. She also is a long-distance runner. Sara grew up in a family of horse owners. She has been riding horses and participating in barrel racing since she was young. Today, she has two horses – Annie, a 14-year-old Quarter Horse mare, and Bandit, a 17-year-old Paint Gelding.
I’m an intern veterinarian with a particular focus on sports medicine. This internship is to further my skill set and experience in sports medicine, reproduction and surgery.
My favorite part of my job is simply getting to work with equine every day and getting to help their owners.
