Lilly-Rose Frehling

Veterinary Assistant

I have been working in the field of equine medicine for 1 1/2 years. Prior to SVEC, I worked 2 years in small animal medicine.

Owning horses myself and living in an underserved area inspired me to pursue my career in veterinary medicine.

A case that was memorable that I have worked on was a mare who rejected her foal. We were able to help him thrive even though he was without a mom.

What I enjoy most about working with owners and their horses is being able to help them through the toughest situations and help guide them every step of the way.

Outside of life at work, I enjoy riding my horses on the trail or at a barrel shows, and also riding our RZR buggy on trails.

One piece of advice I would give to horse owners is to always listen to your horse.
