Dr. Adolfo Martínez moved to the US from Mexico where he was a fertility expert, focusing on reproduction, neonatology, and sports medicine. He graduated from the University of Monterrey (UANL) Mexico. Since moving to the States with his wife and two daughters, Dr. Martinez has acquired his General Practitioner in Equine Medicine certification. He is expanding his knowledge in veterinary medicine to equine dentistry while participating in the Educational Commission for Foreign Veterinary Graduates (ECFVG) program. This program assists graduates of foreign universities in obtaining equivalent licensure in the United States.
Although his passion for horses and sports medicine began in Mexico at age 18 as a veterinary assistant for world champion jumping horses in the 1996 and 2000 Olympic Games, it is through Saginaw Valley Equine Clinic that Dr. Martinez and his family have found friends, support and home.
Dr. Martinez expresses his heartfelt gratefulness “for the opportunity and reality of achieving his American Dream through the guidance and assistance of Dr. Cumper and the SVEC team.”
