Achievement Scholarship

Saginaw Valley Equine Clinic’s Farm Services Team is proud to offer our Annual Achievement Scholarship to graduating seniors in our community who will be pursuing higher education!

How much is the scholarship?

  • $2000 Achievement Scholarship Winner
  • $1000 Achievement Scholarship Runner-Up

Who is Eligible?

  • Graduating class of 2026
  • Must be pursuing higher education, college, trade school, etc.
  • Must be involved in the horse community.
  • Must reside in Saginaw, Midland, or Bay Counties OR within 35 miles of our facility.

How do I Apply?

Eligible applicants should fill in and submit the form at the bottom of this page. This year’s essay prompt is: In 400-500 words, Compare and contrast the roles of horses in two different cultures, examining how horses are used, valued, and symbolized by different peoples.

How will the essay be evaluated?

  • Scholarship applications and subsequent essays will be reviewed by blinded committee members and scored based on the following criteria:
    • Content
    • Grammar
    • Creativity
    • Organization
