What do you do at SVEC?

I am one of the veterinarians and also a surgeon. I do elective surgeries of all types as well as lameness and general veterinary work.

What is your favorite part of your job?

Obviously, I love working with the horses, especially making their veterinary exam and treatment as stress free as possible, but I also enjoy working with the owners and maintaining their relationship with their horses. It's especially rewarding to help horses return to their athletic jobs.

What are your greatest skills and how do they benefit horses and their owners?

I enjoy educating owners, so that they completely understand what is going on with their horse. I have a calm demeanor, which reassures both horses and their owners, especially in times of stress.
